Possess a valid Florida Driver’s license, free of any serious violations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, vendors, supervisors, co-workers and the general public. Must have strong writing and communication skills and be able to communicate in a clear, professional manner. Ability to work independently of direct supervision and capable of sustaining regular and predictable attendance. Must be able to coordinate the functions of a multi-faceted operation effectively handling multiple priorities and the pressure of deadlines. Must be of good moral character as determined by a thorough background check, with no conviction of felony or a misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement. Five (5) years’ of experience in the above fields may be substituted in lieu of an Associate’s degree. Responsible in work to the Support Services Administrative Commander.Īssociate’s degree required with experience in the fields of criminal justice, crime and/or data analysis, law enforcement intelligence, or investigations. Responsible for the coordination, accuracy, and timeliness of all assigned functions and operations. Uses a variety of software applications and resources.Contributes to improving the operations and efficiency of all work processes to decrease turnaround times, streamline procedures, and provide quality customer service.Assists staff in planning effective use of resources and future needs.May assist in budget administration as required.Provide analytical support for investigations.Analyze and evaluate crime/traffic data and makes recommendations in an attempt to identify crime patterns.Conducts research and data analysis on behalf of command staff.
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports based on analysis and shared information.Coordinates general office functions including, but not limited to, data input, records management, procurement, training, communications, police services, etc.Coordinates public awareness mailings and other information as needed.Collect/compile/categorize/analyze narrative and statistical data pertaining to past and current criminal activity.
